The Clave Bancaria Estandarizada (CLABE), is an 18-digit number to uniquely identify Mexican account holders, to guarantee the correct posting of EFT payments. The CLABE is assigned to each bank account in Mexico and is periodically sent to the customers, although it can be asked in to the banks branches.

If your beneficiary in Mexico, can not give you the CLABE number, you can use the debit card number (16 digits), which is in the card.
